And the present
What really happens when you like a person and you do not
have the guts to tell him because you are so afraid to be hurt and rejected, or because you are
thinking you are not yet ready for any other responsibilities towards the other
person, or because you are better to be alone?
What really happens when you feel like life was pulling you
back and forth and whatever you do won’t be enough for the people around you
and you would never receive any compliment, just criticisms and more
criticisms?
What really happens when everything around you feels like
falling apart and you have nothing to do but watch your life shattering before
you?
What really happens when the people you are really close
with and you can share anything with are not available in times of deepest
grief and despair?
What really happens when you feel so alone, that even if you
convince yourself that you have other people who would listen to you, it just
doesn’t feel right?
What really happens when all you can do is let life throw
itself on you and you can’t do anything at all but just go with the flow?
What really happens when you feel crazy about all the things
happening around you and you really want to surrender?
What really happens when suddenly you feel really
uncomfortable with yourself because of other peoples’ criticisms about you and
you want to change everything from head to feel because you really feel
ashamed?
What really happens when you can never really be with the
person you like for more than the reasons you could imagine?
What really happens when you regret you did not tell someone
how you really feel?
What really happens when the only thing you could talk to is
your laptop?
What really happens when there are many “if’s” in your brain
right now and you settled to overthinking that you feel that your head might
explode in any minute now?
What really happens when you feel that things are getting
worse in time?
What really happens when you replace all of the above with
happy thoughts?
Then, maybe you will be at peace with yourself and to
everything around you.
